**Definition**: For ''e ∈ si'' the assertion ''(e ORIGL l)'' specifies the local origin or starting point ''l'' of the event ''e''. It is also used for the specification of the local origin of a conceptual object if the latter has a direction as a meaning component, or if it is "implicitly" associated with a directed event.
