GOAL: Generalized Goal

Definition: The expression (s GOAL g) specifies that the object g is the general aim or goal of s, where s is typically a situation. The relation GOAL is superordinate to the relations DIRCL, PURP, and – to a certain extent – to the relation RSLT. The relation GOAL is extended to sort o with regard to the first argument, since also objects (e.g. persons) can have goals.
